U.S. of A!

i have returned from the long awaited holiday! The family and I took a lovely week and a half long vacation to the states which was enjoyable at most points, but urghhhh so annoying at some minor parts of it. The trip there for instance, took about 2 days of flight time, stopping firstly at Singapore where we had to wait for 7 whole hours at Changi Airport but that wasnt too bad, specially with the amount of thigns to do with the internet and cinema and DUTY FREE SHOPPINGGG. even the smoking garden has sunny yellow sunflowers staring back at you. relaxing!

7 hours later, off to TOKYOOOO. we had another transit at Nagita Airport and that was my first time being on Japanese soil! The Japanese are soooooo clean to a point i felt rather freaked out by it all. Mother was amused at how the tiny cars looked like toys haha the staff, to me, were like litle robots as i watched them refuel the plane and clear the baggage and stuff. they work so efficiently! apart from that, while waiting i actually had genuine japanese made sushi! it was rather sick to be honest. since i didnt know how to speak japanese i couldnt tell them what i wanted so i ended up buying this box full of weird sushi and i have no idea what happened at the counter as the woman mumbled something in japanese really fast, and all of a sudden i was given some money back and i was just stood there like ummmm thank you? walked off in disbelief as i had no idea whether she gave me the right amount of change or even the right kind of sushi and all that. so yea. LANGUAGE. IMPORTANT.

Finally, after 2 days of travelling we arrived at LAX, the world reknowned airport and i hated this part the most of the holiday. can you believe they bloody stooped me for "further interrogation" and i was thinking okkk right sure. " mind me asking what thsi is all for? " and the immigration guy smiles and goes " oh dont worry its just a random check. everyone goes through it :)" and the secodn i entered the interrogation waiting room, i see a room full of Asians and i think to myself " hmmm random. o yea sure....." so it came to my turn and they asked me all sorts of silly questions! how tall was i? my eye colour? my intentions in the states, where ill be staying, my parents occupations bla bla. and to top it all of, i had to do it 3 times cause the stupid american system doesnt work properly cause theyre proper shit and kept deleting my information. i swear the americans are paranoid to fuck. 2 hours i was stuck there! ridicolous.

ok skip all that, we finally were allowed out of the airport! first thing that struck me, the gigantic Chevrolet Tahoe which is absolutely mind blowingly huge right, and i looked around and saw all these american cars which were a mammoth of a size! and i thought wowwwww damn! i have fallen in love with the Tahoe and Escalade i must say. never saw the big deal bout them, but i do now. WOWWWWWW!

Visited the Walk of Fame where those stars on the sidewalk are, for further photos, do visit my facebook album when it gets uploaded. so yea i saw loads of names which i recognized! Johnny Depp, Godzilla, Muhammad Ali, all that jazz. went to the famous Chinese Theater where they host the premieres and stuff. that was pretty ace. had all the celebrities footprints and handprints! the cast of Harry Potter and Will Smith and Donald Duck even!

During the daytime, the walk would be filled with people! even people in costumes dressed up as famous characters! i took photos with Batman, Darth Maul, Vader and a Storm Trooper, even Captain America and Michael Jackson! speaking of celebs, we went to Target for grocery shopping and at the counter, we saw Diane Keaton! she looks better in life than on tv! shes so tall and i must say for her age, she doesnt look too bad!

after 3 days of being in Hollywood, only then did we manage to discover the infamous Hollywood sign on the hills. youd think youd see it the second you arrive in Hollywood but nope. looked for 3 days till we found it haha.

Spent 4 days in Hollywood till we moved to San Diego to Welk Resort. Welk Resort is coming up in the next post!
